Common Questions

Can I add more that one design to a board?

Yes! After you have uploaded your first design, you can add more by clicking the '+ Add' button whilst on the feedback board page.

Can I upload a static design file?

Yes, you can upload a JPG/PNG/SVG file to Bolt. More file support coming soon!

Can I upload a live URL?

Yes, you can upload a live URL. Bolt automatically generates a feedback board from your URL, and will even auto-update as changes are made.

How do I get started?

Click 'Sign up' or 'Try for free' to create an account. Once you've made an account, you can upload a design to create your first board.

Can I cancel my plan at any time?

Yes, all you need to do is go to the 'Billing' page and downgrade your existing plan OR cancel your plan.

How do I create a private feedback board?

After creating your feedback board, click the 'Share' button. Then switch the 'Privacy' toggle to ON (requires paid account). Only people who have been invited will be able to access your board.

How do I invite people to my feedback board?

Click the 'Share' button, then navigate to the bottom of the Share modal and enter the email address of anyone you would like to invite.

I haven't received my verification email

If you haven't received your verification email within 2 hours, please login to Bolt and click 'Resend email'. If you still haven't received it, please get in touch.

Dashboard

I've received an invite to a board, where does it appear?

If you have received and accepted an invite to a feedback board, it will appear on your dashboard.

How do I know if I own a board?

Login to Bolt and navigate to the dashboard. Any feedback boards owned by you will have an 'Owner' tag in the top left.

Can I create folders?

Not yet - this is a feature coming soon!

Can I filter boards?

Not yet - filters coming soon!

Yes, simply click the 'Share' button and scroll down to the invite section. Then click 'Revoke access' next to anyone who should no longer have access to your board.

How do I create a public feedback board?

All feedback boards are public by default. If you want to change your board from private to public, click the 'Share' button and switch the toggle back to public.

My URL feedback board isn't loading

If you can't get your URL feedback board to load, please get in touch with us and we'll investigate. Some websites may use incompatible technologies or blockers, but we can fix these on a case-by-case basis.

Billing

Do I need to pay for an account?

No, we have a free tier. You'll (optionally) need to upgrade your account to increase your account limits.

Can I cancel my plan at any time?

Yes, all you need to do is go to the 'Billing' page and downgrade your existing plan OR cancel your plan.

Do I need a credit or debit card to sign up?

No, you can signup without giving us any card details. We only require card details if you upgrade to a paid subscription.

How do I get started?

Click 'Sign up' or 'Try for free' to create an account. Once you've made an account, you can upload a design to create your first board.

What's your refund policy?

If you're not happy with Bolt, feel free to reach out and we'll happily provide a refund within 30 days.

What payment processor does Bolt use?

Bolt uses Stripe. Stripe is a secure payment processor used by some of the world's largest companies.

Can I have a free trial?

We don't have free trials, but we do have a free tier which will allow you to use Bolt for as long as you'd like.

Account

I've forgotten my password

If you've forgotten your password, please go to the 'Login' page and click 'Forgot Password'.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, click the dropdown in the top right and select 'Account'. From there, you can select 'Delete my account'. We'll permanently delete your account and all associated information.

Can I change my password?

Yes, click the dropdown in the top right and select 'Account'. From there, you are able to update your password.

Can I update my account email?

Yes, click the dropdown in the top right and select 'Account'. From there, you are able to update your email address.

I haven't received my verification email
